The modern version of the SAAB 9-5 business class car, which replaced the SAAB 9000 on the assembly line, and was produced for quite a long time, from 1997 to 2011, and became the last SAAB car, despite attempts to resume production of this model.
Some external elements of the car are a reference specifically to the SAAB 9000 in order to emphasize the continuity between the models. The concept car also received an engine with more power and displacement than the original 9-5, and the all-wheel drive XWD version is equipped with a 4.3-liter turbo engine.
For the latter, the concept car had an enlarged engine compartment, this was done in order to install larger engines in the car, or to introduce a hybrid version, and the car was also increased in width.
